Deacon Muses About Life's Purpose in New Book

WALLACE, NC (PRWeb) February 9, 2007 -- In his new book, Yesterday, Today, and Promises for Tomorrow, Robert Price crafts deeply intimate and philosophical poems about life to help readers gain insight into their own circumstances.

Life has many hills and valleys, and people often get discouraged in their search for meaning and contentment. As a deacon trained in clinical psychology, Price understands how people can feel derailed and uncertain about life and their life's purpose.

In simple, beautifully crafted poems, Price explores life at its fullest. "The Afterworld" deals with meeting Jesus after death. In "An Angel," Price expresses his yearning for his departed mother, and in "The Beautiful World of Peoples," he wonders why and how man is not living up to what God had designed him to be.

Price's book is a wonderful volume that can be opened at any page for a fresh, searching perspective on life and the road ahead. Deeply spiritual, inspirational, and full of hope, Yesterday, Today, and Promises for Tomorrow is sure to be a welcome edition to any church or home library, and a treasured source of comfort for years to come.
